Challenge #112 - Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone!  Our Design Team wishes you all a safe and blessed Christmas with your family and friends.  We hope that you're all enjoying your Christmas celebrations, and that you're taking time to really focus on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.  May God bless each of you at Christmas, and always.  We're SO very grateful for you and the wonderful art you've shared with us this year, and we look forward to seeing the amazing projects you will share in the coming year.  Thanks so much for helping us grow this year.  It's been such a blessing to see all the ways God continues to bless us, and we thank you ALL for being part of it.

This week, we have a beautiful piece of word art made with scripture from Romans 5:1.  This message from God's Word was a tremendous blessing to Paul, as it is to us today.  God told Paul that we have been "justified" which simply means that we have been declared righteous through our faith.  WOW!  No wonder Paul was blessed by these words God gave him.  It's a source of present and constant blessing in our lives to be declared righteous through our faith.  This is what gives us deep, meaningful peace in our relationship with God the Father, through what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.  Each part of the trinity has its own specific role in our lives.  God can declare us as being "justified and declared righteous", Jesus Christ made the sacrifice on the cross, and the Holy Spirit gives us that deep, indwelling peace that calms ours hearts and minds.   It's amazing how each and every verse found in God's Word can be taken apart word by word, and can bless and enrich our lives.  Let God's words bless you, and cling tightly to them as you face life's trials and temptations.  Having been declared righteous gives us this deep indwelling peace that passes all understanding, and allows us to boldly face the things in life that "try us and test us".  So the next time you face a trial, simply recall this verse and stand strong knowing that you have been declared righteous, and claim that peace He has given to you.   What a wonderful Christmas gift - we need to thank God for giving us His precious Word to comfort and bless us.  And of course, for sending His precious Son to make a way for us to get to Heaven.  Rich blessings lie within the Word of God - claim them all, and receive the best Christmas gift ever given - Jesus Christ the Savior!

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
